The intense hue was obtained using a technique inspired by the “gold-ruby” process. In this 17th-century method, the color is generated by the presence of gold particles that are invisible to the naked eye.

The result of several years of research and development in the Maison’s enamel workshops, this material illustrates Van Cleef & Arpels’ commitment to preserving savoir-faire.
