London’s Roundhouse has announced its line-up for Roundhouse Rising, which takes place from October 2026 to February 2027.

The 18 shows, held in the renamed Davey Studio which has hosted performances from Little Simz, Kae Tempest and Inua Ellams, will feature breakthrough acts in music, theatre, spoken word and more.

The season will feature performances including Eleanor Cousins Brown’s Brickwork, a night of poetry inspired by UK estates music and culture and Above the Fray, a night of contemporary chamber music from the Jasmine Quartet.

The Roundhouse says its youth programme engages with more than 10,000 young people a year through creative opportunities including workshops, drop-ins and programmes such as Roundhouse Rising.

Daisy Heath, executive producer at the Roundhouse, said: “We developed Roundhouse Rising in response to what the young musicians and artists that are part of our youth programmes have told us. At a time when it is increasingly difficult to make work on their own terms and get it in front of audiences, we are really excited that each year during Roundhouse Rising this flexible studio space will play host to the most incredible range of events all created by Roundhouse young creatives.

The calibre of submissions for this season made it really clear that young people have the talent and ambition – what they need is space and support, from us here at the Roundhouse, but also from audiences and the wider industry.”
