Michelle and Ty Dubiski, co-founders of the event safety organisation and campaign group Pink Bows Foundation, will speak at FestForums Conference in Santa Barbara from 3–5 February 2027.
The opening remarks will focus on the death of Madison Dubiski, who was one of 10 people to lose their lives following the Astroworld Festival crowd crush in 2021 and for whom Pink Bows was formed in honour of. 300 others were injured at the Astroworld event.
The Pink Bows Foundation also supported Dr Mark Hamilton and Steve Allen in creating the Showstop Procedure training in 2025, which gives events and safety leaders a clear framework for when to intervene to prevent threats to safety.
FestForums will be offering delegates the chance to take part in a four-hour APL Showstop Procedure training on 2 February. Steve will also join a panel to discuss how the Showstop Procedure has been implemented at festivals worldwide.
