German infrastructure company eps has acquired Swiss temporary structure specialists NUSSLI.

The new group employs 820 staff at 50 locations, with Andy Bôckli named as Group CEO. Both companies will continue to operate as eps and NUSSLI and retain their headquarters in Munich and Hüttwilen, respectively.

eps, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, specialises in turf and ground protection systems, crowd control, and visitor management for events. NUSSLI constructs temporary grandstands, stadiums, stages and special structures.

The merger follows a 2017 consortium led by Helvetica Capital, which saw an investment in NUSSLI Group. The investment led to a restructuring of the company, which it says, “lay the foundation for sustainable, profitable growth.” This prompted Helvetica and NUSSLI to search for a strategic owner from within the industry.

Andy Böckli, Group CEO, says, “Both companies are in a strong operational and financial position. That’s exactly why the timing is right: We’re acting from a position of strength.

“The merger is geared toward growth: Additional markets and a broader range of services mean increased expansion, with a corresponding need for additional investments and employees. The professional and consistent service our customers have come to expect will not change, but the range of services behind it will.”
