The music, comedy and food festival for petrol heads CarFest has confirmed it will return to Silverstone for its second year in 2027.
The festival, founded by radio DJ Chris Evans in 2012, was headlined by Jessie J, Tom Jones and Nile Rodgers & Chic and welcomed more than 30,000 punters across the 2026 August bank holiday weekend.
The BBC said that organisers decided to move to the iconic motor circuit to make the festival more accessible to festival-goers from more corners of the UK. It previously called Laverstoke Park Farm in Overton, Hampshire, its home.
CarFest calls itself one of the UK’s largest family funding festivals having raised “millions” for its charity partners including BBC Children In Need, Young Epilepsy, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Rainbow Trust, Starlight Children’s Foundation and Teenage Cancer Trust.
