As part of a programme to support small and micro festivals, funded by the LIVE Trust, the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) has created an eight episode podcast series now available on streaming platforms.
In a LinkedIn post, the AIF explained that the podcast was a way to provide training resources for people who are often volunteers and might not have time for online training.
Episodes are focussed on areas of festival delivery, with AIF members from small festivals invited to speak on the topics. Other episodes deal with questions that arose from the podcast or feedback from organisers.
“Now the series is done, thanks to permission from the Live Trust, we are making the podcast available freely to anyone. So any festival organiser, festival fan, supplier, freelancer or someone interested in the world of festivals can have a listen,” says the AIF. “We thoroughly enjoyed making these episodes. We learnt so much from listening. We hope you to do.”
The podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Pocket Casts.
