You’ll remember the ceramic plate that Jonathan Anderson sent out as the official invite for his Dior debut fashion show back in June. It was no ordinary plate: it came with three realistic hard-boiled eggs attached to it. Anderson later revealed that he found the surreal dish in the Dior archives, and reissued it to symbolise the “start of something”.
One can only guess what a plate topped with walnuts and hazelnuts is supposed to mean. That was the invite for Dior’s Spring/Summer 2026 show—aka Anderson’s first womenswear show for the French fashion house—which will be taking place at Paris Fashion Week.
We’ve already had a glimpse of Anderson’s Dior woman. At the Dior menswear show in June, celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter, Ethel Cain and Mia Goth showed up in custom Dior ensembles designed by Anderson, ranging from a reimagining of the classic Dior Bar Jacket, to feminine pieces like silk tops and flouncy skirts. Dior ambassador Jisoo donned a pink silk ensemble in the vein of the latter during Blackpink’s Deadline tour in July. Another iteration of the Bar Jacket was seen on Greta Lee at the 2025 Venice Film Festival, where Italian actress Alba Rohrwacher also stepped out on the red carpet in a blue bustle gown—Anderson’s first haute couture creation for Dior.
Lee, Goth and Mikey Madison were recently named as brand ambassadors of Anderson’s Dior. The three actresses star in the new Lady Dior bag campaign, sporting pieces that must be from the upcoming Dior Spring/Summer 2026 collection, like a striped jumper, a floral skirt and a wool blazer.
