Singapore operates at light speed when it comes to getting into the Lunar New Year spirit. It seems like the clock barely strikes twelve on 26 December before the Christmas decorations around town are whisked down and replaced with the red and gold accents of the Lunar New Year. In that vein, why not ease into the festivities with a wardrobe update that works beyond the reunion dinner?

Burberry, Longchamp, and Ralph Lauren, with their iconic equine logos, are perfectly poised to tap into the strength and spirit of the Year of the Horse. Burberry’s CNY capsule collection in particular includes new pieces as well as festive spins on classic knitwear. On the home front, Singaporean labels like Perk By Kate and Charles & Keith reflect their roots through thoughtful details and wearable designs that feel just right for the season. Read on for our pick of the Chinese New Year capsule collections that are sure to bring you (and your wardrobe) a dose of strength and prosperity in 2026.

Cos

COS enters the Year of the Horse at a gentle canter, letting the quiet details of their pieces speak for themselves. Their CNY capsule collection, in true COS fashion, is all about texture, tailoring, and elevating the basics. There are red accents scattered throughout, of course—in bright merino wool cardigans and drapey cashmere—but the standout pieces are the ones in cream and black. The horse motifs here are subtle, with hand-drawn sketches appearing on wool sweaters and cleanly embroidered lines on black silk scarves. It’s not the palette one would normally reach for ahead of a reunion dinner, but if you’re looking to embrace the unexpected this Lunar New Year, COS has you covered.

Longchamp

You already know and love Longchamp’s Le Roseau bag, a sleek blend of practicality and sophistication. This February, though, the iconic silhouette gets a festive makeover in the spirit of the Year of the Horse. The new touches are subtle, as one can expect from Longchamp, but considered. The bag’s bamboo clasp is given a fresh update in the form of bow detailing, with its signature gold tones contrasting attractively (and festively) with its new colourways in Carmine and Burgundy. If you’re not in the market for a new carryall, Longchamp’s capsule collection also offers a number of smaller leather goods, like a pouch and a card holder, for a more private touch of festive magic.

Kate Spade

Kate Spade’s approach to the Year of the Horse is all about quiet strength with a touch of whimsy. Maybe you’re throwing on a cosy cream-and-white sweatshirt to greet guests at the door, or popping a tasselled bag charm onto your favourite carryall for a day of house visits—wherever your CNY plans take you, the pieces in Kate Spade’s capsule collection are perfectly subtle nods to the occasion. If you’re not satisfied with the muted cream and tan shades of the collection, opt for one of Kate Spade’s classic bag silhouettes in Dark Scarlet for a festive burst of colour.

Tory Burch

Tory Burch’s take on the Lunar New Year taps into an adorable trend that’s been cropping up everywhere—bag charms. The enamel and pavé crystal charms feature a seasonally appropriate pony silhouette while still being refined and subtle enough to stay in rotation well after the Year of the Horse. Clipped onto the Lee Radziwill bag, they add a touch of playfulness to the piece’s elegant burgundy silhouette. The collection also features Jacquard knitwear with a pop of colour in the form of a horse motif, for those who prefer their LNY fits as subtle as possible.

Rimowa

Nothing suits the spirit of the Fire Horse more than diving headfirst into a new adventure. German luxury brand Rimowa taps into that very spirit for their Year of the Horse campaign, showcasing their lightweight and chic travel essentials on the arm of brand ambassador Greg Hsu. If you’re familiar with the brand, you already know why classic offerings such as the Original Twist are cult favourites among seasoned travellers, prized for their blend of practicality and elegance. Rimowa gives the pieces a seasonally appropriate twist in new colourways like Clay and Terracotta, making them the perfect choice for whatever adventures the new year brings.

Loro Piana

Loro Piana drew on a rich history of craftsmanship for their 2026 Lunar New Year capsule, and we expected nothing less from a label known for its attention to detail. Their Horsey jacket, created in 1992 for the Barcelona Olympics, is an appropriate piece to reimagine for this Lunar New Year, and the exclusive edition comes in a shorter length and a rich brown shade that gives it an elegant versatility. The highlight of the collection, though, comes in the form of the Chandani Horse print, an understated paisley pattern that is equally as alluring on a cashmere skirt as it is on a pair of loafers. You’ll have to look closely to spot the horse silhouette concealed within it, but any excuse to take a second look at a Loro Piana piece is a good one.

Burberry

Burberry’s take on CNY is as refined and classic as you would expect from the British house, but with appropriately festive pops of red throughout the collection. Their Knight logo is reimagined as a delicate watercolour and ink sketch, turning it into a tribute to the strength and energy of the Fire Horse. Cross-stitched onto a cashmere sweater, it makes for a casual yet stylish pairing with your favourite jeans—but the beauty of the hand-drawn artwork is most striking on the delicate silk twill of the skinny scarf. Twist it through belt loops, around a bag strap or even your wrist for a chic touch this CNY.

Perk By Kate

Local cult favourite lingerie brand Perk by Kate teams up with Studio Qiling for a Lunar New Year collaboration that feels intimate and thoughtfully designed. The festive peach print, symbolising abundance and good fortune, features peaches, gold ingots, leaves, and fans, and is applied across Perk by Kate’s signature bra tops as well as Studio Qiling’s luxurious silk scarves. Feminine without being overly sweet, the print works especially well on the silk scarves, which make for a versatile styling piece. It’s a softer, more personal way to embrace the season.

Max Mara sees quiet elegance in your future this Year of the Horse. Their Lunar New Year capsule collection eschews the typical bright red for a deeper palette of burgundy, cream and rich brown. If travel is on the horizon for you this CNY season, opt for Max Mara’s most iconic coat silhouette in a deep red. The cream silk of the patterned pussy-bow blouse is also a subtle way to pay tribute to the season.

Charles & Keith

Charles & Keith delivers a Lunar New Year capsule that feels festive without being over the top. The Sammie Drawstring Bucket Bag is a classy pick, reminiscent of the folds of Loewe’s Flamenco bag (while being much kinder on your budget). The Orinda Knot-Pearl Slide Sandals also stand out as a more unexpected option, thanks to their pearly pink shade and knotted straps that subtly nod to CNY symbolism without leaning into equine motifs. It’s a good choice if you prefer your festive touches understated but thoughtful.

Tommy Hilfiger

Tommy Hilfiger’s CNY collection takes on a sharper edge—and if it’s good enough for superstar Jisoo, who are we to refuse? The capsule brings a Lunar New Year sensibility to Tommy Hilfiger’s signature bold preppiness. Think: black leather varsity jackets paired with twill dresses and knee-high boots; quilted jackets with subtle gold button details. If you want to approach festive dressing with a fashion-forward lens, you know where to look.
