Roskilde Festival has announced the line-up for its art and activism programme, which the festival says aims to celebrate “musical diversity” by welcoming artists “from all over the world performing across the festival’s seven stages, spanning rock, pop, hip-hop, country, electronic, Afrobeats, metal, and more.”

Those artists include Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko, Peruvian cumbia band Los Mirlos, Brazilian singer Liniker, and Catalan reggaeton star Bad Gyal.

Pakistani sufi group Rizwan-Muazzam Qawwali also join the line-up alongside Tanzanian duo The Zawose Queens, Congolese punk act Kin’Gongolo Kiniata and Afrobeats singer Lojay. Japanese DJ ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and doom-psych group Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats will also play across the 27 June – 4 July 2026 week.

The Danish music scene is also represented through local acts Tobias Rahim, Tessa, Aphaca, and TV-2, singer-songwriter Pil and Danish duo Vanessa Amara, whose work can be heard as co-producers of Rosalía’s latest album LUX.

This year’s festival will be headlined by The Cure, Gorillaz, David Byrne and Zara Larsson, who will be joined by Lily Allen, Kneecap, Wolf Alice and more.

The Danish music scene is thriving these years. A strong wave of new artists and a renewed confidence in using the Danish language in lyrics are emerging. The trend of embracing one’s own language is also becoming evident internationally, contributing to a rich diversity of expression.”
