Bangor University’s arts and innovation centre, Pontio and FOCUS Wales are bringing BANG!, a new festival to Bangor on 23-24 October 2026. The Bug Club and GANS will headline.

The two-day festival will be split between two stages at Pontio. Theatr Bryn Terfel will hold standing gigs, and Sinema will host seated sets, as well as electro artists in the bar.

Other acts on the line-up include HMS Morris, Kizzy Crawdford, Cyn Cwsg, Malan, Eve Goodman and more.

Andy Jones, Head of Music at FOCUS Wales says, “We were delighted to be asked to develop a new music event in Bangor for this October. BANG! aims to platform the best in new music from the region, alongside a selection of exciting touring artists. We’re hoping this will be the first edition of many, and that the event can bring the whole music community together.”
