Twenty-five years ago, Ralph Lauren introduced a collection of its signature polos embroidered with a bright pink Polo Pony. Beyond the elegance and freedom embodied by the original emblem, this new iteration stood for something deeper: resilience in the face of tragedy. It was the beginning of the Pink Pony Initiative—Ralph Lauren’s global fight against cancer.

The initiative was built on a recognition that a disease as indiscriminate as cancer demands a determined and far-reaching response. Since its launch, proceeds have helped fund cancer centres, research programmes, and patient support services spanning navigation, treatment, early diagnosis, and education. Now, on its 25th anniversary, the campaign is not just a philanthropic effort but a house tradition.

This year’s collection, Live Well, Be Well, doubles as a call to action. With a focus on prevention, it urges consumers to prioritise their health through cancer screenings while embracing an active lifestyle. The pieces—elegant yet practical—channel Ralph Lauren’s timeless codes with the vitality of Pink Pony: grey and black twill, cable knit, and leather punctuated with hot-pink accents and bold slogans.

One hundred per cent of proceeds from the Twill Ball Cap and Cable-Knit Hoodie will go directly to cancer initiatives, with 25 per cent of sales from the rest of the collection also donated. The campaign highlights survivors and community leaders such as author and basketball player Ronnie Laughlin, who says: “Living well and being well is being grateful for the life that I’ve been given.”

The launch was marked with sports-themed activations across Ralph Lauren stores and at events including Wimbledon and the US Open. In Singapore, donations will benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation. The collection is available worldwide in select Ralph Lauren stores and online.
