Suffolk’s Latitude Festival has secured its home for the next 20 years in Henham Park.
The 135,000 person festival, which this year saw David Byrne, Lewis Capaldi and Teddy Swims headline on 23-26 July, has signed a new lease that will make its current site the place for Latitude over the next two decades.
The announcement was made on Sunday (26 July) at the festival by founder and organiser Melvin Benn.
The newly signed lease allows for greater restoration of Henham Park, says Hektor Rous whose family own the grounds of Latitude. Hektor told the BBC: “Latitude has very much enabled us to continue the restoration and care of Henham Park which is not only my life’s work, but the work of generations before and after.
It has supported the restoration of several at risk buildings and aided us in the catching up on many years of forestry and landscape recovery and maintenance works critical to maintaining an estate like this.“
