There’s a vibrantly hued trend sweeping through the luxury travel accessory space, and you might see it before you hear about it. From Rimowa to Tumi, this season’s luggage launches are blending form with function in an explosion of colour—because what is practicality without a touch of style?

Whether it’s Rimowa’s striking new Magenta and Orange colourways or Tumi’s pastel-hued Mediterranean Escape collection, we’re seeing a vibrant take on travel accessories this year. It’s not the first time these brands have gone colourful, but it does signal a shift in what customers are seeking. Gone are the days when the only acceptable shade for a suitcase was navy blue or black, as Tumi’s creative director Victor Sanz told GRAZIA Singapore earlier this year. Younger customers, especially in Southeast Asia, are no longer satisfied with the status quo. “There’s an appetite to embrace newness and change, and to not be pausing,” Sanz said of Tumi’s Southeast Asian customers.
Casetify also offers a pop of colour with its Bounce line, featuring artworks created in collaboration with artists such as Thailand’s Suntur and Britain’s Jon Burgerman. And for those seeking travel essentials with a quieter touch, Samsonite has you covered, with their Quanthum and Paralux collections offering more subdued colourways.
Ahead, we round up the luggage launches that are guaranteed to give your trip abroad a stylish spin.
RIMOWA
Seasonal Hues: Orange And Magenta

Rimowa’s Orange and Magenta colourways are as striking in person as they are on screen. The German luggage and lifestyle brand has long been defined by its sleek, grooved aluminium offerings—but where their classic silver colourway feels more appropriate for a high-flying business trip, this season’s offerings have a Pop Art sensibility that leans into the spirit of discovery.
With its emphasis on durability, Rimowa is certainly not one to compromise on quality, even as they take a fashion-forward outlook. The new colourways can be found on the brand’s Essential and Groove lines, both renowned for their combination of strength and lightness. For those who prefer their colour in smaller doses, the Orange colourway can also be found on the Groove Cross-Body Bag and a series of smaller leather goods and travel accessories.
Aluminium Grid

If you thought archival pulls and house codes were exclusive to high-fashion brands, think again. Rimowa has a 125-year history of working with aluminium, consistently pushing the material to its technical and stylistic boundaries throughout. With the limited edition Aluminium Grid collection, the brand draws upon this rich history to create a series of pieces embossed with a striking Grid pattern, referencing an archival design from the 1960s. The interiors of the pieces are equally as deliberate, featuring a quilted leather lining mirroring the exterior geometric aluminium pattern. Adding to the collection’s exclusivity is the fact that only 1969 pieces were created, in a nod to the design’s date of origin.
TUMI
Mediterranean Escape

Tumi’s ballistic nylon and aluminium offerings have long been associated with high-performance intensity, but for their newest launch, the brand is going in the opposite direction. Their Mediterranean Escape collection taps into a slower, more intentional rhythm of travel, inspired by the sensorial richness of the Mediterranean. The colour story translates the region’s architecture and landscape through a softer, pastel-hued lens, giving the shades a timeless feel. Take the Washed Yellow, for instance—the pale yellow shade is inspired not by the bright hue of Amalfi lemons, but by their sharp citrus scent wafting over a breeze. Similarly, the Pink Clay shade references the rustic elegance of terracotta tiles, but in a pastel hue that gives it a timeless appeal.
To celebrate the launch of the collection, the brand hosted a sun-drenched retreat in Koh Samui earlier this year, giving guests the chance to both escape the hustle of daily life and also put the collection to the test. The soft green Thyme shade proved to be the most popular choice, especially on the 19 Degree Front Access line, while Thai celebrities like Becky Armstrong and Mile Phakphum leaned towards the beachside elegance of the raffia-knit Olas line. Which part of the Mediterranean is calling out to you this summer?
CASETIFY
Bounce Expandable Suitcase

Casetify’s latest launch is for the art girls and the design obsessives. Their Bounce Expandable suitcase range is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional, featuring collaborations with global creatives from Thailand to the UK. One range of collaborations features the brightly coloured, geometric works of the late Yoo Young-kuk, often considered Korea’s first abstract artist, while another features the minimalist and evocative paintings of Thailand’s Suntur. British artist Jon Burgerman’s graffiti-like blob creatures are easily the most whimsical option, for those who prefer their travel accessories with a touch of playfulness. After all, why leave your art on the wall when you could whisk it around the world with you?
SAMSONITE
Quanthom

The final entries on this list are devoted to the blend of form and function that is Samsonite. With their two newest launches, the travel accessory brand proves that you don’t need to reinvent the wheel to deliver innovation. The newly launched Quanthom collection consists of hardside suitcases that are versatile enough to work for both short trips and extended stays. They’re especially appealing for those of us who prefer our luggage a little more subdued, featuring a vertically grooved shell in polished shades of silver and black. Did anyone say quiet luxury?
Paralux

The Paralux line takes all the versatile appeal of the Quanthom collection and gives it a head-to-toe makeover in green. Not just in terms of colour—though the Olive Green shade is a solid choice—but through its sustainable and environmentally conscious design. Paralux also offers hardside luggage in shades of black, navy, and grey, but they’re crafted with recycled materials like aluminium, PET fabrics, and polypropylene. Combine that with clever features like a dual-access opening and removable packing cubes, and you get a perfect blend of eco-friendly and practical.
