Copenhagen Fashion Week 2025 has officially wrapped, and over the last few days, the city’s sidewalks rivalled its runways. With 44 brands on the official schedule and hometown hero Cecilie Bahnsen making a glorious return to celebrate her label’s 10th anniversary as the week’s inaugural guest designer, Spring 2026 turned out to be a landmark season. But beyond the catwalks and carefully curated collections lies the true heartbeat of CPHFW: the street style.
There’s a reason Copenhagen’s style set has become fashion’s most-watched front row. Known for their artful layering, relaxed silhouettes, and insouciant cool, showgoers are once again transforming the city into a living moodboard for the rest of us.
Though we’re sure it’s just the tip of the iceberg for the local style set, this season observed a leaning towards masculine tailoring tempered by hyperfeminine touches of bows and ballet flats, maximalist prints in classic silhouettes, vintage accessories, rugged utility softened with sheer layers and shiny finishes and colourblocking with an irreverence for the rulebooks.
From newcomers like Kettel Atelier and Taus making their debuts under the New Talent umbrella, and returning brands like OpéraSport, Marimekko, Skall Studio, Rotate, and more staking their claim with confident new collections, the style off the runway felt just as forward-thinking as the talent behind the curtains. Not only are the Danes setting the pace for future seasons, but they’re demonstrating how much fun there is to be had with our wardrobes in the process.
